Our Cutie Pie (pumpkin, of course!)

He likes being in his car seat... and sleeps when we're driving. He DOES like speed though. If you go too slow he starts fussing :). Hopefully he keeps this up when we're going to MI next month...

Yawning...

Alex has made a wonderful discovery: When you lift Titus' arms up, he opens his mouth! Its automatic, for some reason. So here's a demonstration, just for y'all...

MORE pics... are y'all sick of this yet? :)

GASP!! Here's another pic... is Alex modest enough this time? :)
Yesterday Titus got to meet Mrs. Virgie finally and he really liked her!! I really think he recognized her voice from before he was born since we hang out a lot together.

Alex and Titus were reading a magazine together this afternoon at lunchtime :).

Ok, the other day due to yet another peeing incident while attempting a diaper change, Titus got his first bath with his mommy and daddy :). He did NOT like it despite our best efforts, and after we finished washing him I ran to get the camera and get a pic of his first bath at home. Just as I returned to the kitchen we heard an all too-familiar sound, letting us know exactly what he thinks of our bathing techniques...

I know y'all would want to see this!!!

And here's the unhappy little munchkin recovering from such a trying time.

New pictures!

doesn't he look cute in his big bulky cloth diapers?? :)

he stuck his thumb in the hole in the back of the pacifier, so he was sucking his thumb... sort of.

He loves his pack & play :)

last night he was laying there in our bed holding his feet up... just for fun, I guess? :)

That's all for today... right now Titus is crying on my lap. TTYL!!

Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

This is a belated post to honor myself because I officially turned 24 last Friday and neglected to announce it to my blog fans!! It was a very good birthday in spite of being hugely pregnant. Alex took the day off work and first thing in the morning ran to Walmart to get some milk for cereal for breakfast. After being gone for FOREVER he finally turned up with the milk and a waffle iron for me (I said I wanted one for my birthday) and said he'd just been "browsing". Several hours later there was a knock at the door and when I answered it, there was a lady standing there holding these for me!!
It turned out Alex had to wait around until 9am when the flower shop opened :). Isn't he so sweet???? :D

9 months pregnant...

So here we are at 9 months pregnant and the baby can come anytime it wants to. Is that exciting or what?!? :) Just in case anyone out there is wondering, I am DEFINITELY ready to get this baby out. I don't know why people think its necessary to ask someone if they're ready when they look like they're going to pop, but most everybody does. So I try to smile and be polite in spite of my... er... shall we say, less than patient thoughts :). Since women are so widely known to be cranky when pregnant you'd think people would know to steer clear of them a little bit. Just in case you're wondering, here are a few things you should not ask the same woman more than once per pregnancy:
1. How are you feeling? [Especially this one!!!]
2. How's the baby doing?
3. Are you sure that's not twins?
4. Been getting any morning sickness?
5. You STILL haven't had that baby yet?!?
Yes, I'm still getting ALL of those!! It almost seems like people are disappointed with my answers. They appear to actually be hopeful that I feel like trash, am having quintuplets, haven't been able to keep anything down for 9 months, and I do actually still have a baby in there... I'm not just FAT!! And if I'm alive and breathing then so is the baby, HONEST!!! Haha. Oh well. I guess everybody has good intentions :).
OK. For anyone who wants to know, we are officially having a boy. I am sorry to have been so slow at posting this news, but the church had a baby shower for us a month ago and Mrs. Sarah conducted a test to find out what we are having. These little bunnies in the picture are the kind you pull on the tail and it vibrates back in on its string. They had 2 girls pull the strings at the same time and whichever one vibrated closest to me would determine the gender of my baby. SO.... Here is proof that the blue one is the winner!!!

I don't know if you can get much more technical than THAT!!! Also for those of you who are mad at me for taking advantage of the distance between us, here is a picture of me. And if that doesn't make you happy ain't nothin' gonna!!!! Because I refuse to do sideways poses and other such nonsense!!!Last night was our first night of Awana at church and the kids are fascinated with my size :P. Wearing one of the old gray button-up uniforms didn't seem to help cameoflage anything, it rather accentuated my largeness and the color being a somewhat elephant-gray confirmed my likeness to that animal. Reagan, a little Sparky- oops she graduated into T&T this year (!!) ran up, stopped in front of me and studied me for a minute. Then she announced, "Y'know, you look really HUGE to be having just one!!" Diamond, another T&Ter sat down next to me (her sister is pregnant right now too- due a month or two after me) and said, "Mrs. Abby, how come you never get cranky? Hah!! I looked at her like she was crazy and said that of course I get cranky! Then she says, "Well you never act grouchy at church." So I asked, "Don't you put on your good behavior when you go to church? Of course I act proper at church... I wouldn't want anyone here to think I was a sinner or something!!" So then she totally changed her mind and said, "I bet Mr. Alex can't WAIT till you're not pregnant anymore so you won't be so cranky!!" And seemed satisfied with this new picture of me. If I could just see inside her head I'm sure I would've seen a picture of me chasing Alex around beating him with a frying pan or something :). Kids!!!!Here is just one final pic in case y'all wonder what kind of people I go to church with. This is Alisha and Mrs. Kay!! And yes, we're Baptists!!! :) haha.
